Hey all.

We've been having some unusual weather here in the upper midwest. Yesterday we broke the record for the lowest high temperature, the old one was 65, yesterday we only hit 61. This room stayed around 65-68 most the day with the windows closed. Last night I checked my CPU temp, it was only 40C!

That's with an AMD Barton 2500+ @ 3200+ via upping the FSB to 200mhz, no voltage change.

I also read the case temp, a whopping 24C!

That's the coolest my case has been since I can remember. Of course, having a new case with a Rear 120mm and top 80mm blowing out helps! Not to mention the 80mm blowing in the side and the 60mm blowing in the front across the HDDs, and the 10cfm PCI fan cooling off my vid card. ;)

But damn, it sucks having temps in the 50s the second week of August. You know where I live? Illinios!

Edit: oh yeah, I've got these temps while folding 24/7!

Lol, my folks are verry funny about heat. They don't usually turn it on till it gets into the 50's for a high. On top of that, they turn it down to 65 at 9:00PM when it is on.

Even during the day, they don't turn it up above 68.

But I agree, the heat should have been on yesterday. Instead what I got were a bunch of yahoos opening all the windows.

Yeah, its been pretty cold down here in effingham too. Last night my case temps were around 26C and my proc was running about 38C while running FAH 24/7. It help having a 120mm fan blowing cool air right on the proc.
