...fans! Looks great, especially with the green LEDs. So you pull air in through the radiator, and then cool the hard drive before blowing it out the back? How hot does the hard drive get? :o

Thx for the interest guys. The front fans push air through the radiator from the front. The air coming off the radiator is only about 85*F when the computer is at load so the harddrive could not be to hot.

those cool the air as it comes into the engine right? I think a heatercore from a car would be better at transfering heat that a intercooler

yeh they do, i dunno if they transfer heat better, but a intercooler is huge. Itd be wierd to see an intercooler in the house cooling a comp down lol plus the pipes inside are much bigger.

I have one of those cases.

I'm afraid to mod it. Nice to have some ideas.

Here's and older pic of my setup, they are taken from a refrigeration system. I'm only using the large on now , and no need for a fan. http://attachments.techguy.org/attachme ... ntid=59363 I've tryed a heater core before and I found that it was hard to pull the air through without some kind of shroud and a loud fan.
So I got looking around and found an all aluminium condenser coil with nice airflow through and the temp's dropped alot.

Here's another pic of the 6800gt and chipset cooled with handmade water blocks, http://attachments.techguy.org/attachme ... ntid=64032
