Please assist...I have taken quite a few steps to try and keep my cpu at the recommended operating temp with no success...I have installed a new fan & heatsink (Coolermaster) with paste....also have added another case fan. I have an Asus A7V333 mobo with 256mb.....the cpu consistently runs at 140 F and everything I've read says it should not be run over 130 F...I'm not overclocking...any input appreciated.....

You might have put on too much thermal paste. Too much is almost but not quite as bad as no paste at all. :D

Clean off all the paste from your fan and processor make sure you don't leave any dust from the cloth and re-apply a very thin layer to the processor and an extreamly thin layer to the fan but you don't even have to do that. I do but just because.

Now if its not the paste check to make sure the fans are blowing in the correct direction.
