I checked my stats and it said nothing about 6 processors. I think you guys tok some really good drugs while I was gone. lol!

it is odd spider it shows now shows only 2 processors but the xeons would have made 6, for a week anyway. dosnt show in the 50 day cpu number either, maybe because the machine was re registered to a new user it wont show because of the machine id is the same. i didnt check to see if belboz registered any more cpus when he had the xeons.

your machines may have been off, but they were safe, i suggest a ups, saves a lot of trouble, i use a cyberpower 1250avr, my 2.8, and the 3000+ are both on it, as is the 21" monitor, monitors to much needs to come off.
were there any electrical problems while you were gone that could have killed your machines?

I'm sure that one of them just timed out (dial up).

are you saying that you did leave them on, and something happened, not counting time outs.

Nope. Just saying I left them on like always, and the stopped folding for a few days.

thats odd. their set to auto start, after a reboot i get spontaneus reboots sometimes, but are mostly heat related, when its 90+ and 10 machines running, the xeons wont even go to post, bios makes you f1 to boot the "unmatched processors" as they wont boot themselves, really sucks to lose 4 cpus overnite or all day. plus an improper shutdown runs without any advanced settings, and needs to be shut down and restarted, properly to use them again. check the logs and wee why they quit.

While I know why the laptop quit out, I'm figuring that the main pooter just stopped communicating with the server. It happens now and then. At least it does here. lol

machine bugs i have um sometimes, i took the portable out after 10 straight months of folding, and it wouldnt run for 10 minutes, and shut down, even tried car air conditioning blowing in the air intake, just shut down. took it home plugged it in its been working no problem ever since.

That's freakin weird. Unless you had a bad battery. I can't leave mine unplugged anymore because if that reason.
