this is for the " Not important but had to say it" department: I was having a lot of problems with crashes, etc. with Windows XP 2 years ago. So I wrote both Ballmer and Gates at M$. They (and no one else at M$, for that matter) ever wrote me back or called, etc. Should I be surprised ? LOL

I actually used snail mail for both of them. I assume you are joking about the home account, right ?

I find that very odd. I heard that Gates and Ballmer handle all the customer technical support issues, and I have never had a single email or snail mail to them go unanswered.

Snail mail? Did you send it to his office or his home?

No, I'm not joking. I guess you don't know him personally huh.

I hear he won't read the letters that are stuffed in tubes of steel and capped off with a string hanging out one end. I guess he only likes envelopes.

Yeah I noticed that too. And he rejected my shipment I sent. It was just a 10/10 ft wooden enclosure with snakes, spider monkeys, goats.

Nope, don't know either of them. Yes, I used "normal" business envelopes  that looked normal. I sent the letters to the main business address for MS. If you have a good snail mail or email, please write to me. Of course, remove the "uganda" parts. Thanks. Maybe I can actually help us. I won't hold my breath.

I have, several times over the last 8 years. I get tired of giving MS $35 a pop for their wisdom. I just want to let Ballmer and Gates know what one of their consumers thinks about their OS'es.
