My company is purchasing 20 new pcs and I have to set them up. Each pc is connected to a network domain and the OS is XP Pro.

I'm looking for a disk imaging software that would let me set the computer name, create a user, and set the admin password during the image recreation process.

Anyone used know of any programs they have used before and can recommend?

UltraTech has this list:

Active Disk Image ...... http://www.disk-image.net/
Deploy Center .......... http://www.powerquest.com/deploycenter/
DriveCopy .............. http://www.powerquest.com/drivecopy/
DriveImage ............. http://www.powerquest.com/driveimage/
Image for Windows ...... http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/
ImageCast IC3 .......... http://www.ics-iq.com/ic3/en_ic3opening.html
Norton Ghost ........... http://www.ghost.com/
Partition Imager ....... http://www.7tools.com/
Rembo .................. http://www.rembo.com/
TrueImage .............. http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/

Thank you.

We use ImageCast at work and I would recommend it over PQ Partition Magic or Ghost any day. It's got an injection tool that allows you to image a PC and inject the Windows pre-configuration file (the Microsoft name escapes me -- it's part of the resource kit). It works like a charm.

The Microsoft utility is called Sysprep btw.

I reccoment Ghost. That is what we use at work and seems to work great. Very easy to use too.
