How much do you guys think this is worth? Im thinking of getting one from a friend for my sister (her current PC is like a P1 200Mhz...)

He is asking $150, but I dont think it's really worth that...maybe $100.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking $75ish really.

If you need a low end rig and have any interest, email or PM me. I've replaced the PIII 866 w/ 512mb PC133 and it's kinda just sitting there. I had contemplated setting it up as a monitorless folding rig, but if your sis can make better use of it, then I'd rather see it go in that direction.

ya...the 810 chipset. I don't think I ever seen one of those even. Musta been during my AMD adventures:p I agree that $150 may be a bit much. If you can talk it down to $90, I'd get it.

Is this seller known to you at all? I think it's cool that your getting this for someone, but I had talking people down like that if I know them...I'm weak :p

He's someone I knew from high school.

The bad thing is he got the "technology award" because he was taking a few computer-related classes (GIS, web desgin, maybe multimedia) so he thinks he knows computers

Heh, reminds me of my brother's friend. He's taking some MCSE classes and now suddenly thinks he know's computers. Every time he sees me working on the computers at my parents house, he thinks he should throw in his 2cents. Never mind the fact that I've got about 10 years experience under my belt (he has NONE).

This buffoon swallowed that school's BS hook, line and sinker. He keeps saying how MCSE's make $100k to start.
I told him 'Oh yeah? Tell that to the MCSE that I used to work with at CompUSA.'

Mmm....integrated graphics. Better off harvesting a Geforce 2 from the local dump (where I got mine ;)).
