How much time did u spend posting all these URL's? haha....of course with a post count like you have you obviously enjoy these forums.

Honestly, the longest part was coverting them to BBCode, and to some extent, alphabetizing. Many of them were already in my bookmarks, so what a Godsend tabbed browsing was when opening them all up and cutting/pasting/converting. Fair credit must be given to everyone that has contributed, as I have this list up in a couple of forums. When I get enough to make it worthwhile, I update my master list in Word and then edit the post. :)

And yes, I enjoy these forums and the community we have here. Longtime fan of the magazine as well. ;)

One, I almost think this link is good enough to be put in it's own sticky. It would sure answer a lot of questions:

TR's CPU Decoder Ring

This thing is awesome! It lists all the current CPUs, their Socket, Clock Speed, Multiplier, Process, Voltage, Bus Speed, L1 Cache Size, L2 Cache Size, L3 Cache Size, NX Bit, 64 Bit, and of course, Codename! :D

The best part is that you can sort the list by any of those descriptors!

The thing goes all the way back to the 1500+ Athlon and the 1.5Ghz P4 (I had no idea P4 went back that far!)

I think this is a great link for overclockers looking at purchasing new CPUs, because it lists the mulitplier, FSB, and Clock Speed on all the CPUs.

Tom's Hardware has an interactive cpu chart that allows you to compare Intel and amd' cpu's w/benchmarks. i know toms is on the list already, but people may not be aware of the interactive chart:
http://www23.tomshardware.com/index.html
it goes back to k6 2, it's a pretty good. there's a good range of benchmarks as well. once you choose which two you want to compare, it highlights those in the benchmarks.

I took the liberty of adding all these to a bookmarks.html file. (Right click, save as...)

This will easily be imported into the firefox bookmarks. (Sorry IE guys, I realized after I created this that it won't import into IE. It took me upwards of an hour to do this.)

Also I made some corrections which are as follows:

- CaseModGod links to www.oemxpress.com. Correct URL is www.casemodgod.com/

- Update The Commport link to http://forums.delphiforums.com/n/main.a ... rt%2Fstart to go to the main page.

- Linux Gamers has an extra http:// in it.

If Maximum PC Mods want to host this file themselves so they can easily update it as the list gets update, that'd be fantastic.

Anyway, I was bored. So, there you go!
