Gotta second that one with Purolator. Only used them when I bought a monitor from Canada, and I will never, ever ship anything through Purolator again--they sent me a bill for ~$64 and called it "handling fees!" Utter bullshit. Sure, I might have to pay import taxes and shit, but it didn't say anything about taxes on the bill--just "handling fee."

Thumbs up: Microsoft, for giving us all a decent operating system

Thumbs down: Microsoft, for giving us an operating system that has always been buggy, full of security flaws, and could have easily been better. If only they had tried better, instead of rushing an incomplete product to the shelves just to gouge the average consumer.

Thumbs down: Any retailer who uses the rebate system. It's just a system for price adjustment, but clouded in mirrors and crap. Good for the lazy, greedy manufacturer, bad for the average consumer.

SVC.com
zipzoomfly.com
Crucial Ballistix RAM
Mushkin RAM
PC Power & Cooling for making kick ass power supplies
Antec for making high quality power supplies at more affordable prices & for quality cases!
Best Buy - yes I actualy like my local Best Buy, even bought my HDTV from bestbuy.com.
nVidia for giving AMD users a much better option (Vs. VIA)
FedEx for super fast service (on average I get 20% of my packages 1 day early, even from California to Florida!)
USPS for a fast & affordable shipping alternative (Priority Mail)

Thumbs Down:
ASUS - What good is a 3 year warranty if you can't get support/replacement when you need it?
Gainward - (see my post in dog pound)
UPS - for being late (about 25% of deliveries are 1 or more days late) & delivering packages that look like they were used as a punching bag.
Wal-Mart Super Centers because it takes an average of 12 minutes to check out (my own experiences at 2 different super centers over the course of 4 months).

Thumb Up List
Bigfoot Computers
VoyegeurMods.com (Great parts and custom cases for great prices!)
ADPmods.com ( same as above)

Thumb Neither Up nor Down List
Dell Computers (unless you are Canadian, for some reason, they have less parts for Canadians then Americans. [thinks]Hmmm, do they think Canadians are stupid? ;) [/thinks] )
Custom Computer ( Good selection, but poor prices!)

My thumbs down list for Canadians:
http://www.alienware.com (hate the prices, [top of the line PC would cost me $11,000])
Wal-Mart (use only in emergencies!)
Staples ( great prices, but limited selection, AMD machines are limited)
TigerDirect.ca. (They don't ship to PO Boxes!)
[/edit]
Thanks,
Mad_Comp

Thumbs down: Comcast-when are they ever going to learn to stay connected
& tell the TRUTH... Its a given that high-speed internet is supposed to be reliable....UMMM..NO!! Not with lying, slow Comcast. They think of their customers as sheep, blindly swallowing their hype and utter lies. (Sorry-just ranting). "UP TO six times faster than DSL"- Yeah,right....

Blondie....Blondie....Blondie..WHAT choices are EVEN out there with the exception of Creative Labs sound solutions? You CAN try either M-Audio, or Voyetra Turtle Beach. Creative Labs pretty much has this category locked up. If you want, I use the Turtle Beach Catalina, you might want to check it out.

***EDIT*** http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/product ... itwork.asp go here, THEY give you a FULL out view of EVERYTHING this baby can DO!! Eat your hearts out Creative Lab FanBoys/Girls (g) :D

Thumbs Up:

Newegg
ZipZoomFly
Performance PC's (they have kickass modding materials and great cooling solutions)
Fed-Ex
Fry's (they have what you need when you need it usually, just a bit pricey, no big)

Booooooooo!

Best Buy (for wasting 2 years of my life with their lobotomising sales tactics that I HAD to force on customers)
bzboyz.com (never, EVER go to these guys for parts, the deals look good, but the quality of product that gets in their hands sucks and their RMA sucks too)
.......and pretty much all retail electronic chains who try to pawn off crappy product on people at a high price so as to fill the coffers of the corporate "elite".
