call me stupid blah blah bah but i ahve a qustion, how to i access my bios :oops: umm yeha i just never done it

Usually its the delete key just after you start-up your PC during the booting mode.

depends on your computer if OEM brand google it for DIY computers it is usually press "del" while powering on (post screen)

oh yeah don't go dicking about all willy nilly in the bios as you can wreck your PC (or atleast make it so you have to reset CMOS... before you can get it to boot again).

I strongly suggest you read up on the bios (I **think** there my be a bios guide in the FAQ's??... if not google it for BIOS guides) before you start messing about in your bios.

i wanted to get to the bios for one particular thing. and i got to it so thanks :o

ah ok, no worries just didn't want to see anyone "hose" their computer by running amok in the bios.

but I bet ya'll were just trying to change the boot order for the linux thing huh?

Well if you never accessed it, I wouldn't recommend you doing it. If you don't know what the settings are, I wouldn't mess with it.

Read an BIOS guide before you venture into it. I think Rojak's BIOS guide on the net somewhere might explain it in detail more.
