Better watch it... You can get your ass kicked for saying Gamecube around here!

Just kidding there bub :)

Yea I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy. Only the big N is allowed in my house :) NES, SNES, N64, and GCN.

I really need to get a gameboy though... lots of great games on that amazing little handheld.

I play my XBOX mostly, but i did buy a Gamecube for Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, and Zelda Windwaker - those games are incredible.

My kids love the Gameboy Advanced SP, Gamecube & N64. They are very spoiled; they also have X-Box, PS2, and Dreamcast. Only have 3 games for x-box and 3 for PS2 though. Of course they share my old PC too.

Frankly I see each console as having its own strong points. Bar none the PS2 has the widest selection of games. XBox rules on the technology front in graphics & audio. The GameCube has the edge when it comes to first party developed software although XBox follows at a very close second. The only one I don't own of the three is the PS2 although I plan on purchasing one soon to complete the ensemble.

I have been a Nintendo fan since my first one, the SNES, back in 1993. I was just a lad back then. Those were the days.

Anyways, it's 2004 now, and the PC is the true triumphant gaming machine. I can only imagine the beauty of a Radeon X800 Platinum Edition right now. My Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB is nice, but it doesn't hardly compare to the X800 (and nVidia 6800 FX for that matter). Add PCI Express, an AMD Athlon FX-53, DDR2, and 2 Western Digital 74 GB Raptor's in RAID Striping and you have the best gaming machine for ages! (Or at least 'til the next gen of video cards are released, that is.)

Shame shame shame. Maxx, the PC may far dominate the console world but the PS2 does not dominate the other 2 consoles. Sure it has a massive library of titles and has swung some exclusive deals in the past but its aging hardware and mediocre quality take it down a few notches in my book. The Xbox is plagued by the "Anti-MS" rejects and the GC was hurt by slow sales and developers pulling support. Aside from that, I spend more time playing GC and Xbox than I do PS2 unless a game is only available for PS2, which a lot of my favorite games are.

Not so much the newer stuff. But I just finished playing Super Metroid if that gives you any idea.
