Hey guys my computer i wanna partition my OS from my media files and everything else but i was wondering how much space i need for the OS because i have heard of guys in a bind when they upgrade, and by the way this is a fresh new build so clean disk. But i heard it sometimes is easier to just use a good progarm after the OS is installed and the comp. is up and running. Thanks for the help

how big is the disk?

I have a 160 GB drive in my main pc

i set it up with a 50GB~ C:/ partition 50GB~ for my documents 40~ GB's for MP3's and the remaining space left for messing about with linux.

I would say you should figure out how much space you want where and partition accordingly not try to mess about resizing partitions later as a 1st choice.
