some TV tuner cards have FM tuners as well. i personally haven't seen a card that is an FM tuner by itself, but then again, i've never looked.

one probably exists somewhere.

Then again, I wonder--is there anything really worth listening to on FM?

Most cards that include FM tuners also have TV tuners. I haven't seen any FM only cards though. Look here: http://www.hauppauge.com

ess what I am looking for is something that will let me get different radio stations by state, for instance I live in Hawaii, if I wanted to listen to my favorite Cali radio station what hardware would I need to do it?

a shortwave raido, I know Windows media player can get raido stations.

Signal degradation man! Thats like 450 miles the FM signals gotta carry!
