i just moved in with my fiance and the computer i had b4 was my older brothers. Im thinking of buying this one what do u think?

daiwa full tower case
antec truepower 550w
msi neo4 nforce 4 sli
amd athlon 64 3500+ oced to 2510mhz (xp-120, thermaltake cpu fan)
evga 6800ultra pcie
300gb segate 7200.8 ncq
1024mb (2x512mb) corsair twinx ddr400
audigy 2 zs gamer
nec 3520a
lg 16x dvd-rom
logitech x530
logitech mx 700 duo
19" sony trinitron monitor ( i already have this)

is this alright or should i change something or add something? i have 20$ left to spend.

is 37.5db really loud? shoot that psu isnt sli ready,is it. im prob. going to get another 6800u. Is it sli ready?

Whoops, do you have a truepower or a truecontrol?

Edit: If this is your card then your PSU should be able to support SLI (so long as it can supply the power)

i think ill be content with the mx700, is the antec truepower sli ready?
this is the psu i was going to get but is it sli reday?

Yes it should have enough molex connectors. As to its a bility to deliver proper wattage I don't know. Some PSU's are pimping "nvidia SLI compatability" and saying they have 2 12v rails, though I don't know if its a necessity.

The TruePower 550 should be fine as long as you don't go nuts on HDDs... You should have enough Molex connectors just like Urms said...

ok then i guess i will buy it, right now i only have 1 hd, and 2x 120mm case fans. i might upgrade to more in the future but not anytime soon.

I believe the theory behind the two separate 12v supplies is one for CPU/MOBO and one for drives. Drives can theoretically induce noise into the lines.
