Good readings, yeah you only have to start worrying when they start getting into the 50's I think.

wut can i use to find out my cpu information and my temperature???

EDIT-I just looked up my tempp and stuff using my BIOS, and the case temp is 35 C and the CPU temp is only 43 C, are these good readings for having it on the floor and being an AMD?

35C mainboard temp and 43C for CPU temp are ok for an AMD. Thery're not fantastic, but they're not bad either.

I'm not sure what my computer runs at idle, it hasn't been idle in weeks due to folding :P

Basically, when I fold I get 26-27C case temp, and 45-46 CPU temp. But, that's with my AMD Barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+, and about 60cfm blowing in, and 75cfm blowing out, on a desk.

If you want an idea of how much cfm you have, an 80mm fan has about 30-35cfm for a cheap one.

I would say that you should be fine overclocking a little, but just do it in small steps. Up the fsb maybe 5mhz at a time at first and see how it affects your temperatures.

I just took a look at some speeze fans.

Here is one that looks pretty decent for cheap. It's got a higher cfm than the Vantec, but at the cost of adding a few dba.

Take a look at the volume discount. If you buy three, you can get $2 shipping on each, and save $0.20 per fan.

It's got great reviews too.

Edit: heh, do the math. If you buy two of them it will be 1.49x2 (2.98 ) + $8 Shipping. That's just under $11.

If you buy three of them instead, you'll get 1.29x3 (3.87) + $6 shipping, that's only $9.87

Heh, you save just over a buck by buying 3 instead of two!

do some more math and those speeze fans are a steal! buy 10 or more and they're only $0.99 each with free shipping! now THAT is a price break.

Those temps seem ok to me

CHeckout Motherboard monitor for live temp monitoring, and check out SiSoft Sandra or Everest for system info.

I think I put links in the MRL in the modder's folder (Its stickeyed at the top)

(And before anyone flames me I am pimping the MRL for a few days so folks know it is there - I will stop after a bit).
