Its been a long time ( 10ish years) since i played a game on a computer and latley with how crappy i think the xbox one is being i figured why not jump back into some pc gaming. I been researching for about a week give or take. Here is what i have come up with for a entry level gaming pc ( i plan to upgrade later if needed) Was just wondering what some experienced gamers or pc guy think. Should this get the job done ? all said and to my door the parts are about 1200-1300$ sound average ? any help would be defiantly welcomed . Thanks in advance.

I believe that is an oxymoron :)

Seriously, though, here are my thoughts:
  • Everything looks compatible and you still have an upgrade path with the FX-8350
  • I like the case. It's a little flashy, but not gaudy.
  • On the flip side, I'm not real sure it can accommodate the H100i comfortably. I'm not saying it won't, but considering it's a mid tower ATX, room is going to be very tight at the top. The Hyper 212 EVO is extremely popular. Personally, I like closed-loop coolers, so I would suggest the Cooler Master Seidon or the Corsair H50.
  • With the build you have, I believe a 500w PSU is sufficient, like this Corsair 500w which is only $30 AR (that's a really good deal)
  • With the savings on these two changes (~$80 - $100), I would suggest you look into an SSD. You can probably get a decent 128GB for $80, though I would suggest a 250GB - I believe this is the current sweet spot and right now you can find some decent brands for about $110 - 125. Plus, you'd be doubling the capacity for about $40

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. i will buy a ssd within the next month defiantly. i got the h100i to fit with some modding :) . clears all ram and boards . Wating for rest of order to come in to finish up . Kind of disappointed in some of the locations of the plugs on the motherboard like the usb 3.0. im currently figuring out while i wait for parts how to move or extend some wires so i can hide them better.

defiantly = characterized by defiance; boldly resistant or challenging: a defiant attitude.
definitely = without doubt

If you're willing to spend 1300, I've just built one using this page http://toptengamer.hubpages.com/hub/Cus ... ng-PC-1300 that has been excellent so far. It talks you through the parts you should use, and WHY they're important (which is big for me) .
