Not looking for help with a FIOS problem, so please read on.
I've had FIOS for about 5 years and most of that time I've had nothing but trouble keeping wireless devices connected to the standard router. Eventually I got a Netgear WNDR4500 and connected it by Ethernet to the FIOS router, and ran all my wireless devices through the Netgear router - my 3 wired devices went straight to the FIOS router - and this has been working fine.
Today I got one of the new advanced FIOS routers, but before I set up all my wireless devices on it, I started to think, and so here's the question. To get the best internet performance for my wired devices, especially playing games (Battlefield4), am I better off keeping the wireless devices on the Netgear router and let that handle the wireless traffic so the FIOS router only sees the 1 wired device, or should I put everything on the FIOS router, or doesn't it even matter.
