Yes, it should be fine. Just remember to keep the packaging just in case.

Nope, spoke too soon. I came back from the dentist this morning and was greeted by this.

The issue is from that lvrs64.sys file. A Google search found that this is a Logitech camera driver. Either uninstall it or update the driver.

I went through the steps necessary to fix the mini cam, which was lot surprisingly for a clean boot.

I will probably end up with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814130932, thanks for all the help.

Now I got this error, I tried using the supposed hotfix from windows on this but it is incompatible with my version of windows. What would be the best course of action?

Your hard drive or RAM is having issues. Open a command prompt as an admin and run
Code:
chkdsk /f /r C:\
, you may have to restart for it to actually run. If it comes back with nothing, run Memtest98

I tried run your string for cmd but it didn't work. However A day earlier I ran a chsdisk on restart and it didn't do anything to help the problem. A couple hours later I got a different code but fail to get it down due to family. I'm using the mem test 86 but Im having trouble figuring it out.

Future reference, Google "stop code" the last two hex digits where it says "STOP:". In your picture, you'd be looking for "stop code 0xF4" and the one before that "stop code 0x7A"

Also the command was probably wrong, try
Code:
chkdsk C:\ /f /r
In any case your issue is either the hard drive or RAM. Also don't use the built-in memory scanner, it's probably Windows' and isn't exactly reliable. Use Memtest98.

I ran the memtest86 for 16 hrs with 15 passes and came up with no errors. So could it be the hard drive or cpu?

Hard drive. It's never the CPU.

Well just before I got here to this site, I got the good old stop 0xF4. Anyway what would be a good brand/model. for the replacement. Also would be able to lend any tips for a external one too?

If that cloud company Black Burn has any credibility, Hitachi, then Western Digital. Seagate fell off the map by a good margin. As for an external, I usually get an internal drive and an external enclosure. It's upgradable and when it's time to "retire" the old backup drive, you can easily reuse it.

So either one these will do? Do I have to worry about compatibility like the graphics card and PSU?

The first one is what you should get, since it has more capacity.

And no, you don't have to worry about compatibility with a hard drive.
