Hello.
I am looking for 80x25mm PWM case fans that have color leds.
Does PWM <> Color ?

If PWM color leds case fans exist, where do I buy them ?

Take your pick (just make sure to sort by color).

However, I would like to point out getting a PWM bsaed fan is kind of pointless because most fan controllers (on the motherboard or a 5.25" bay type) use voltage adjustment, not PWM.

Not if the OP has 4-pin fan headers available.

Which most motherboards (except for the CPU) and fan controllers don't have.

My motherboard is an Asus P8Z77-V Pro/Thunderbolt.
I may have misread this. The 2 CPU connectors are labeled like this..
    - CPU FAN PWM
    - CPU FAN IN
    - CPU FAN PWR
    - GND

The 3 chassis fan connectors are labeled like...
    - +5V
    - CHA FAN IN
    - CHASSIS FAN
    - GND

Lt.

Well, I'll be damned, those are all PWM controlled plugs (I had a gander at the manual)

I thought as much... All of the Non-PWM fans seem to use molex connectors.
The PWM fans have the 4-pin header? connectors.

Cant seem to find any LED PWM 80x25mm fans :(

Go back to my first post in the link, it should be a pre-filtered Newegg search on PWM fans. Just refine it further for the LED you want (you may have to hit the "more options" button)

Unless Newegg thinks 4 pin means Molex.

Not much luck so far. The 4 pin seems to refer to Molex. Some fans have the header
style connector but its 3 pin :( Such as

Oy vey ! :?

I didn't see any either, just a clear plastic one that was unlit.

Just means search elsewhere.
