I have been working on a build, and I am trying to decide what I should change on it.
This is what it is at the moment.
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K
CPU Cooler: Enermax ETS-T40-W
MOBO: Asus Maximus VI Extreme
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB)
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200 RPM
Graphics Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB
Case: Cooler Master HAF X
Optical Drive: LG WH14NS40 Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer
PSU: Undecided, will be based on how I change the build.
I am trying to cut the price down by a few hundred Canadian Dollars.
I thought of a couple of things that I might do.
1. Buy a cheaper MOBO with only 2 PCIe ports, which would require less of a power supply since I don't need to plan for more than two Graphics Cards. The main question with this is if there is a chance that I will ever use more than two Graphics Cards before upgrading the mobo, and processor.
2. Use a GTX 770. I would prefer to keep the 780, but if there is no point in a 780 then I might get the 770.
I am open to any suggestions that anyone has.
