It's upgrade time again and you guys have never steered me wrong so here goes. I want to build a new budget rig around the Intel i5 4670k. I mostly play BF3 and will be expecting to play BF4 when it comes out. I need some recommendations as to what hardware I will need, case too. Keep in mind I want this to stay budget class as I'm retired and not a millionaire. An older generation GPU will do for me. I'm thinking Geforce GTX 650 Ti or Radeon 7790. I want single video card so SLI or Crossfire mobos don't interest me. Remember cost down!

Well, give us a budget of how much you're willing to spend first. Otherwise I might just jerry rig something that's kind of horrible :P

I was thinking of keeping the total cost down to about $800; less would be better. I'm probably not talking about an SSD right now either so I'll be sticking with a hard drive. So basically I looking for a budget single video card mobo, mid-grade GPU, 8GB ram, simple DVD burner, Atx mid tower case with at least 500 watt power supply, 1TB hard drive and OEM copy of windows 8. This all built around the i5 4670k. I want hardware recommendations that will give me the best preformance for price.

I would look up reviews on the parts though just to make sure they're OK.

I will read up up on this hardware, especially the motherboard. It seems awful cheap and I might bump up to $100 to get a better one (Asus or Gigabyte).
