my wife forgot the password on her sony vaio. this is like the 3rd time she's done this stupid crap. everytime it cost her $65 to bring it to bestbuy to reset the password. i can see why she forgets it... bestbuy sets up this ridiculous long password that has to be written down. this time the computer auto updated, and rebooted. it logged her off and now she cant find the little piece of paper with the password written on it. i have told her over and over not to do business with bestbuy. she refuses to listen. they put this ridiculous viral protection software on the sony that has really dampered my ability to change her password without having to bring it back to bestbuy. you cant even save a picture without admin password. this computer is like ft. knox! i know this has been covered a billion times, but i cant find a good solution. i need to get rid of this admin password... every password off this computer! i've tried going through bios and changing passwords. all it did was add a password to bios admin. i also saved a password reset disk to a usb... it ask for admin password again!!! i have never seen a computer locked down like this. KASPERSKY is awful!

Well... I tried everything, nothing worked. You know what did? Uploading a new windows 7 ultimate OS! And, it saved all the files from the old OS. Very impressed with this OEM windows download. It came with no bloat ware.

I have used this many times for family members that forget their passwords. Works perfectly!
