So, a few days ago I decided to get into PC gaming but I didn't really know where to start. I have been searching the web and researching gaming PC's and parts by themselves too. I've been debating whether I should buy a PC already made or build one myself. If what games I'm playing on it matter a lot then these are the games I plan to play: Battlefield 3/4 and other shooters, Watch Dogs, Batman, Payday, Mortal Kombat, and some racing games too.
I've been leaning towards making my own and here are the parts that I got off a website that promised this would be a good build for my budget of around $1000:
Windows 7 Home Premium ----- Operating System $ 70
NZXT Phantom 410 ----- Case $ 85
Intel i5-3570K ----- CPU $ 205
Asrock Z77 Pro 3 ----- Motherboard $ 85
Corsair Vengeance LP 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 ----- RAM $ 70 - 100
Asus GTX 660 Ti ----- GPU Graphics Card $ 210
Seagate Barracuda 1TB ----- Hard Drive $ 65
Samsung DVD RW ----- Optical Drive $ 15
Thermaltake Smart Series 750w ----- Power Supply $ 85
Viewsonic VX2370Smh-LED ----- Display/Monitor $ 160
Cheap Mouse and Keyboard $ 20
(I plan on using a controller since that's what I'm use to)
Would this be a good PC or should I change some parts or buy an already built one ? Please help in any way you can.
