- Hi everyone :D i'm new to this forum as i was looking for a place where some knowledgeable ppl could help me out. I am building a new high-end rig, primarily for gaming, but also for all sorts of rendering (vegas, photoshop etc).
So basically, i was looking and thinking, watching a lot of reviews, benchmarks and so fort, and this is a build i came up with, so i was wondering if anyone here could give me some tips on whether i have made some components incompatible or not:

Cpu: Intel i7-3770k 3.5Ghz 8MB (264€)
Gpu: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB (640€)
Mobo: Asus Sabertooth Z87 (200€)
Memory: Kingston 16GB 1600Mhz Ddr3
Cpu Cooler: NOCTUA NH-D14 LGA775/1156/1366 Air cooler (70€)
Case: COOLER MASTER Storm Stryker SGC-5000W-KWN1 (145€)

- I do want to overclock the gpu and cpu as much as i can, while still having the PC run as quiet as possible. I think i have chosen some pretty solid cooling, but feel free to tell me if it's not enough. As for storage, i have two 1TB HDD's from my current rig, and i am considering to get a "Samsung 128GB SSD SATA600 840 Pro Series" , as i understand that the loading times are much faster on an ssd, and i reckon it would benefit me as i mostly play mmorpg games that require a lot of consistent loading.

I am looking forward to hearing your opinions. Thanks in advance!

Some things I would change:
  • Video card to GTX 770. Costs half as much and still performs really well on games at maximum detail.
  • Cooler to Cooler Master Hyper 212. This pretty much set the bar for price/performance. Usually now it's either this or if you need something beefier, you get an AIO water cooling unit.

Things to consider
  • An AMD FX-8350 system. If you're going to use those applications, the FX-8350 performs really well for $200. Is it a worse performer in games than Intel? Sure, but most games are GPU dependent anyway.
