I currently have a cm hypo 212 on my 3570k @ 4.2. temps are fine and i've never had a problem. But I would like to try a all in one cooler (AIC). Prob. a cm seidon or a corsair hydro. My research indicates I might cool about 5-10 C more. Does that sound right? think its worth switching?

What are your temps under load? If it's still 50C or less, then no, it's not really worthwhile.

In the immediate sense, heat and fan noise from the CPU are concerns for upgrading a cooler. If you are not bothered by either, then there's no reason to upgrade. Also heat does not affect performance unless you're hitting the thermal ceiling. If you're fine, then all you're really buying the part is extended lifespan, which the part was designed to last using the stock heatsink longer than you'd care to own it.
