Concerning the Ultra build for July 2013, would someone please tell me the item #'s for the RAM and GPU ? I'm sorry to ask this but there are quite a few to choose from (8 - 10 variants), and i'm really not sure which one to select. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

While I don't know for certain, if you were planning on building it, you can't go wrong getting RAM from Corsair or G.Skill and the video card from EVGA.

I understand that Latios, thank you. But my problem is when I look up the RAM and GPU on pricegrabber or pcpartpicker there are many different item #'s for that specific RAM or GPU, for example:
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CML16GX3M4X1600C7)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9)
Corsair Vengeance LP 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CML16GX3M4X1600C8)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9G)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CML16GX3M4A1600C9)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CML16GX3M4A1600C9B)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9)

and for the GPU:

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-3788-KR)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-3786-KR)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-2781-KR)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-2782-KR)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-2784-KR)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-2783-KR)
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card (03G-P4-2780-KR)

this is basically my problem.

CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9(XMP) is the only officially supported ddr3 1600 16GB (4x4) set according to the asus website. does it really matter? I doubt it.

http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/P9X ... upport_QVL

as for the GPUs it doesn't really matter, all the models will have slightly diff clock speeds and settings. you wont even be able to tell. comes down to how much you wanna spend.

Just get whatever's cheapest :D

Also the RAM compatibility list doesn't really mean much beyond that the particular kit was tested. Just FYI.
