I should probably say first that this will be my first computer build :) I've pretty much mapped out all the components that I'll need for my new build, but I'm still trying to figure out which motherboard to get. Two that I'm considering are the EVGA Z77 FTW and the ASUS Maximus V FORMULA. The other components I'll be using are as follows:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge
RAM: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 16GB
PSU: CORSAIR AX860i 860W Full Modular
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW+ 4GB
Hard Drive 1: SAMSUNG 840 Series 2.5" 250GB SSD (for OS)
Hard Drives 2&3: WD Caviar Black 2TB
CPU Cooler: COOLER MASTER Eisberg 240L Prestige
Case: NZXT PHANTOM 820
Any opinions, feedback or advice would be most welcome :)

I would hold off on building a system if I were you because Intel's Haswell processors are about to be released soon. Haswell processors will need a Z87 motherboard, so I can't recommend any motherboards to you unfortunately.

Something else we need to help you with your build is this: what are you building it for? gaming? video editing? home theater?
Some of what you have listed would be underwhelming for one and outlandish for another.
So let us know what you are going to use this computer for.

I would get a new GTX 770 instead of the 680 you selected as it will perform the same as the 680 but cost $400.
