It's been 5 years so I built myself a brand new kick ass rig. My last rig was quite the kick ass rig too but........you know.

Anyway, I had the idea of Frankensteining the old rig back together, that along with a new 26" HD monitor and give it to my dad for Father's Day. He's still stuck back in the 20th century where the internet for him is unfolding his slow as shiit laptop and reading off a 17" screen. I'd like to introduce him to monitors big enough where you can read off them from the other side of the room.....you know????

Anyway, the mobo in question is an ASUS M4A79 Deluxe and it lost it's battery. I downloaded the manual for it but no info on the battery. Would the typical 2032 3V do the trick????

well, google tells me that they're all standard so any 2032 3v will work. What do the experts say?

In all the motherboards I've laid my hands on from oh....'98 to today....CR2032 has been the default standard CMOS battery.
