Picked up this sub for my speaker bar. And now the speaker bar is toast.. but the sub dominates.

Is there a way to design a 2.1 or even 5.1 setup for this system.

and can anyone recommend a good setup using my sub piece by piece. because if you do its probably going
to be the setup i buy.

It looks like it can take an RCA input or something. It looks like a standalone unit.

Buy a cheap receiver and a pair of bookshelf speakers...

if that were mine, I would pair it with some matching speakers

Polk Audio CS10 Center Channel $100

Polk Audio TSi100 Bookshelf Speakers, pair $153 (get two for 5.1 setup)

and a halfway decent receiver

Onkyo TX-NR414 5.1-Channel Network A/V Receiver $260

that will rock. Man my setup is so old - my sub is passive only (like the four pass-through terminals only) and I don't have HDMI - it goes back a few years. But it is Onkyo and the sound quality is excellent. All that matters right? lol

cheers

I have this center channel speaker, its very clear and can handle loud levels. I drive it with a harman kardon receiver; onkyo will do nicely too.
