Hey, I just joined the site and you guys seem very knowledgeable and I have an upgrade question.

I want to preface this by saying that I have a young child so my budget for upgrades isn't too big.

A few years ago I picked up a Gateway DX4300-03 off of Bestbuy's private auction website for a couple hundred bucks. The relevant specs for this machine are a AMD Phenom X4 9750 @ 2.4 GHz, an ATI Radeon HD 6450, 8 GB of DDR2 and that it has SATA 2 ports. The first thing I upgraded was the graphics card - I got a sweet deal on Newegg on a EVGA 550ti. This caused my machine to run pretty hot so in the following months as cash permitted I upgraded the case to a Cooler Master HAF 912 (with additional fans), installed a Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler and a Cooler Master 600 watt PSU. This got the temps taken care of as far as I can tell (CPU and GPU idle at around 30c). Then I got 2 Dell 23" 1080p LED panels for Christmas and picked up a 128 GB OCZ Vertex 3 on sale at Tiger Direct. Now, about a year later, I'm getting the itch to upgrade (tinker) again. My question is this - What should I switch out next? Would it be best to go ahead and do MOBO/CPU/RAM (I was thinking a 3570K) to take advantage of the performance DDR3, a better processor, and SATA 3 ports for my SSD - or would I get more bang for my buck getting a new video card (was thinking 660ti or 670)? The 550ti seems to have been a decent upgrade when I got it, but now doesn't seem so great..

The CPU/Mobo/RAM severely needs an upgrade, especially if you're using a first gen Phenom.
