I replaced the thermal on my M11x R3 and when putting the WiFi card in I noticed this, it appears to be a port of some sort. It has seems to have plenty of space in front of it for a card of some sort, could it be for a MSATA drive? If it is that'd be great as I could have a 750GB Hybrid HDD for DATA and a 128GB MSATA SSD for my OS! BTW how do these temps sound for a idling M11x R3 i5? CPU 50C, GPU 40C. Thanks! :)

I CAN'T UPLOAD A PHOTO!!! THIS HAS HAPPEND ON EVERY COMPUTER OR DEVICE I HAVE USED!!! THE UPLOADER PROGRAM (or whatever you'd call it) MUST BE BROKEN BECAUSE NOTHING WORKS,DIFFERENT PC OR PHOTO FORMAT. THE PORT IS ABOVE THE WIFI CARD. I WILL UPLOAD A PHOTO IF I CAN GET ONE TO.

I always had better luck uploading pictures to photobucket or a similar service then linking to it in my post.

It's most likely a mini PCI-Express slot, which won't do you any good.

And those temps are fairly normal.

If it is a mini PCI-E what can it do? Could I put my GTX 580 in it? LOL! :P

You asked what you could use the other mini PCI Express slot for.

As far as I know, mini PCI-Express slots are only for WiFi cards.
