Hey,

Sorry for the post about this, but I posted a day ago the "New Rig 2011" in the help build section. It was approved and I edited it to add a few information, and then it still hasn't reappeared? Did I delete it by accident or something?

Just to let you know your post has been approved and is on the help me buy/help me build section. Once you have 3 posts under your belt your posts will be posted immediately this is to keep the spam in the forum, out of the forum. Thank you for your patience.

It's still not cool IMO and could be more smartly implemented. People come here for advice and they're treated as spam right off the bat and must wait for an unknown amount of time.

This, a technical forum is not made of. Can't tell a bot from a post?

It's almost as bad as when I submit a thread and it gets denied for posting "illegal" and "pirated" software links, when I didn't even post a link whatsoever. >:|

I'm new and I completely agree.

I am quite frustrated that I edited a post and it is now gone from the thread list do nobody can help me with my build until someone once again approves my thread.

It makes me want to give up posting here. Although I know it's only 3 posts before the approval stuff stops... It is still highly annoying for new users looking to get some quick answers.

I agree, even then, some posts/threads get lost in the system. Sometimes a new unanswered thread would pop up, I'll reply and then notice that it was dated by a few months... ugg

I was just about to post a thread similar to this! Just realized now that every post is moderated. I'll be patient :-)

Probably not, you're right .. we're all volunteers and there are only a handful of us left so there can be quite a gap between the time you submit a post and the time that it is approved.

Since we have hundreds of spam posts to wade through every day, and they all have to be read to ensure we aren't deleting the handful of sincere posts, it takes a while.

I posted in the overclocking section to help someone with his 1100t and its been over a week without an approval. If posts are going to need to be approved, at the very least the moderator or who ever is responsible should at least do their job.

You should now be able to post without restrictions. The mod queue is chock-full of spam and almost all of the mods have limited to no time to go through it.

Hello,

So is this mean that I will not be able to see my post before I will do 3 posts ?

the first three have to be approved, after that, your posts will appear right away.

This is a very good system. There is no chance to spam here. Every post is being moderated.
