I just finished a new build over the weekend. The case has two USB3 connections in the front, and I have an AFT PRO-57U front panel with two USB3 connections as well. My motherboard (ASUS P8Z77-V Pro) has a place to put in a connection to either the two front panel USB3 connectors or the PRO-57U connectors, but not both. Is there a way to connect both?

No, there's no way to do it on the motherboard.

Better planning would have eliminated that problem, GA-Z77X-UD5H for example is a much better board, is cheaper, & comes with 3 USB 3.0 front pannel connectors.... Other than an add-in card that's already been linked, you do have the option of running a pass-through cable (which should have come with the 57U) to one of the rear USB 3.0 ports.

^ Yessiree! UD5H > V-Pro! Homework always pans out. But in this case, we have a lesson learned.

Actually, one of those "duh" moments - after reading over the manual and looking closely I discovered it does have two places to connect front usb3 connectors.

I didn't even see that second connector & yes I looked at the board image before I posted. I hate it when they don't put like-hardware together. That at least makes it a little better value that I thought it was, though I still like the 3 connectors on the UD5H ;) At least you don't have to spend any more $$$ or use a pass-through cable :D
