Maximum PC

I just did a new build and a new install of Win7 64. Ive noticed that on certain sites (specifically Fandango and xfx (video card registration) )I am not able to login or implement info in the field spaces (login, password etc).
It allows me to type in the info but when I press enter or login the screen flashes/loads as if it is going to the next page, but nothing happens, the fields just go blank again.

I have no Idea whats going on. I have tried it in Chrome and in Windows Explorer. I had AVG and then switched over to Microsoft Security Essentials, thinking that AVG was blocking it. I also tried disabling the firewall on my computer. Nothing seemed to work.

Any ideas what might be going on? maybe I am overlooking something with my anti virus or the firewall..?

AVG may not be completely removed from your computer, Here are two websites; the first is how to remove it tutorial and the second is a removal tool that will expunge it from you system:

Get rid of any tool bars associated with AVG or any other toolbar for that matter...ya don't need the spyware anyway. That is what tool bars are for to track your searches on the interwebs...ya got enough stuff tracking you as it is, don't invite more. When I work on friends/relatives systems, tool bars are uninstalled with a reprimand following said action.

Is windows fully updated via Microsoft Updates?

Try Firefox, I have had good luck with it down through many years.
