Just to be sure everyone knows, "Additional log on information may be required" pop up warning issue is due to MS trying to make everyone use their own DNS servers...
dns.msftncsi.com
http://www.msftncsi.com

Changed to Google DNS and no pop ups...

BAD MS BAD MS BAD MS BAD MS

Before you go torches and pitchforks, this is the problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2750841

Considering it's an IPv6 update and there's nobody's really made a jump to IPv6, it would make sense that Microsoft would default the default DNS IPv6 server to itself.

So yeah, if you get this, just go to Control Panel and uninstall the update (KB2750841?)

It just seems odd that Microsoft (bows head toward Redmond) would knowingly distribute an update that will cause such a problem.

Apologies to all MS-fanboys.

It's not a problem, just an annoyance, since you're not really losing any real functionality here.
