Maximum PC

so as the subject suggests i need a bit of a hand building a custom computer my budget isn't too big maybe about $1000 or £850 but a couple of friends linked me some suggested rigs but both of them said that there's was better than the others if anyone can find anything better for a similar or lower price that would be great but i need to be able to play TF2, Shogun 2, and Guild wars 2 on medium to high settings without lag as my laptop can play them but with amazing amounts of lag where its not worth trying

a friend did recommend me a different graphics card which would cost £50 extra which isn't a problem but i didn't save the name or anything but yeah if anyone sees any problems or anyways of making it better without exceeding the current price by too much then that would be great

You are missing a few parts for a complete build - motherboard, storage hard drive (unless the 128 GB SSD is enough?) and aftermarket air cooler (not necessary, but a good idea with a 3570K). Also, what are you planning to game on? What resolution panel?

That said, I'm not certain I would recommend that case and PSU combo, simply because I'd guess you can do better for the money. A decent, newer case starts at about $50 and a soild 600 watt PSU can be had for about $80 more or less.

And I would definitely spend more on a better GPU. A gaming build with a budget of $1k (at least here in the USA) should be able to easily accomodate at least a Radeon 7850 or better.
