I recently got an ultrabook with a dedicated graphics chip, but without an SSD. I'm planning to upgrade to a 256GB SSD very soon, but I can't decide which one to buy. I have three in mind:
The
OCZ Vertex 4 256GB,
The
Samsung 830 Series 256GB, or
The as of yet unreleased Samsung 840 Series Pro 256GB.
From the reviews I've read, the drives generally stack up like this: Samsung 830<Vertex 4<Samsung 840 Pro (prototype drivers). I was just wondering if anyone would like to give their opinion on which drive I should upgrade to, taking into account price and performance. Oh yeah, my laptop can only take in 7mm drives, so I'll have to mod the Vertex 4's case if I get that. I know how to do it, so it won't be a problem.
