First WU 10% done
P7808
Base Credit 1698.09
Estimated Time Per Frame 5min 15sec
Estimated Credit 15480.30
Estimated PPD 42460.25

This is with my initial overclock of 4GHz, combined with the GTX460 folding, FAH is reporting 53,780ppd for the machine, but this is definitely a power hungry CPU, machine is drawing 460 Watts compared to about 330 Watts for the Phenom II X6-1055t that was replaced.

Still, that works out to 117ppd per watt, best the Phenom did was about 92ppd per watt and that was with those sweet 600 pointers that it liked. On average it was closer to 70ppd per watt with the only difference between the two systems being motherboard, processor, & motherboard drivers.

Will check the ppd per watt after a week or so, should have a much better base-line by then.

That's ppd sounds pretty good to me :!:

Please keep us updated on the ppd.

I was thinking about getting one of these to replace my aging i7-930 and 950 systems.

Well, at the current rate, I will make it into the top 20 in ppd production with just one PC running  CPU's currently getting 18K (after the 10% A4 core bonus) about every 9.75 hours with an about average overclock to 4.4GHz 7808/7809 WU's. Temps are higher than I'd like so I'm not going to push it any further, at least not till the Indigo Extreme TIM arrives...

Interested in the folding power? Just keep an eye on my stats. This is the only PC I'll be folding with, and the GPU accounts for about 10-14k ppd. Plan is to keep it at 4.4GHz till next weekend for burn-in, then drop to stock for another week before seeing how far I can go with this CPU. So this upcomming week will be ppd @ 4.4GHz, the week following that will be ppd @ 3.2GHz, but all gloves are off after that

I should probably also note that I'm playing either Skyrim or Deus EX:HR 4 - 6 hours each day (on vacation), so that's probably cutting several K off my total ppd.

Burn in is finished, 1 full week of Folding @ Home with the CPU overclocked to 4.4GHz.

7 day total points: 375637 = 53,662 ppd average, that includes the GPU which never averaged more than 9,800 ppd.
121kWh used in 232 hours or 12.5kWh per day - that works out to 4,293 PPD per kWh
Range of the highest CPU core temps across all six cores via "Core Temp 0.99.8" 82C - 87C

SMP work unit data, though I didn't get HFM installed till Monday, so the data is only 5 days worth, and there's still a bunch of it...

You can really tell where I was playing Skyrim or Deus Ex, especially on those 600 point work units. If I had left the PC running 24/7 without using it, I probably would have surpassed the 60,000 ppd mark.

I would have guessed you were rocking server parts by now. In the K'nex case. :P
