Very interesting, some reality and a sanity check for anyone chasing read/writes and IOPs in the quest for the very best ssd. No such thing and it doesn't matter in real world (aka, non-benchmarking) environments.

ROFLMFAO.... Not a very comprehensive or informative test... 1TB Velociraptor HDD = 48 seconds & the absolute best SSD = 43 seconds... What was scanned??? a single file? a single folder? a clean install of Windows with Security Essentials installed but nothing else added, What was the total size of the files scanned

Hell, I might as well tell you that Premier Pro CS6 takes 12.8 seconds to open on when installed on my 1TB WD Caviar Black SATA III HDD drive and 2.6 seconds to open when installed on my 128GB Vertex 4 SSD and I would be just as informative & comprehensive as that chart.

Leave it to you to actually read the data. We get so bombarded with mindless charts and benchmark numbers. I was wondering if anyone was going to recognize the Raptor.

You know what's funny? My laptop is more buttery smooth than my desktop, and it's gimped at SATA II speeds. Even though they both use the same exact SSD model.

At this point it seems like who cares what SSD someone gets. As long as it's an SSD.
