Maximum PC

The redundant power supplies that are available do not fit in a standard PS2 power supply chassis.

Anyone know of a chassis that can hold this? Antecs did years ago, and the rack units do.

These are your only options for something resembling a tower.

Otherwise you'll have to make due with a rack mount chassis.

Can't find any pedestal cases to hold that kind of a power supply, but Logisys makes a nice rack-mount inexpensive case for the job.

Coolermaster's OG Stacker will (It's called the 810 after the next Stackers were released), and it even comes with a PSU jumper. It's not 'redundant' exactly, but is dual PSU capable. To have redundant PSU's I believe you must have switching PSU's and makes all the difference. In a dual PSU build, if one fails the other should be large enough to hold up the load, thus it's close enough to me. In a true redundant system, one is offline until the primary fails and then the standby comes online. In a dual, they'll be working in parallel 24/7.

Which, BTW, will help efficiency a heck of a lot. It's a dated thread, but I show this in the modders workshop back in 2005 or so. They're legacy items, but can find them new in the box still on eBay. Still my favorite tower produced to this date.
