Hello,
So lately I've been getting some ailments with my Logitech Marathon mouse M705 that I got roughly a year ago. I've noticed that sometimes the "click" doesn't get registered correctly, like say if i'm holding down the right button so I can aim in Crysis, the mouse will sometimes "release" itself. It's very noticeable in strategy games when I'm trying to face my units in a particular direction and the mouse will release itself or register two clicks, so my units don't go where I want them too. Is my mouse just broken?

Sounds like time to RMA the mouse to me.

Happened to me with my Logitech G9. There's really nothing you can do (at least not that I know of). I just bought a new mouse instead. Now I'm a bit afraid of Logitech mice.

If you ordered it online, you can use the invoice instead. And depending on how nice the company is about their RMA, you could just ship the product as is, provided you give it enough packaging.

EDIT: By company I mean manufacturer.

Bought it from brick-and-mortor microcenter...got nothing left of the packaging or receipt :(

Shame...it really is a marathon mouse, the first set of batteries lasted longer than the mouse itself.

E-mail them for an RMA or call them. You don't need the receipt or box it came in, just tell them to look up the serial number....that will tell them whether or not is still under warranty...I think it is three years, so you are good.
