 Post subject: have a video card issue question

i have windows 7 64 bit home premium and nvidia based gtx 560 ti yesterday my graphic drivers quit 3 times .. is that normal? yeah they recovered after a few seconds but my screen went black for a few? my drivers are up to date i checked on nvidias web site .. what can i do?is it normal?

Location: back on the right side of the middle of the left side YES i'm folding
best thing to do is completely uninstall the drivers and reinstall. turn off all antivirus. with a good clean install, if it still does it, then it may be a weak power supply or to many things on one rail (depends on the psu) if it has a single 12v rail or several rails.

500w min, and 30amps on the 12v.

i have this system for a year and half i got i think 700 watts power supply and i did a clean install of the drivers
can it be my card is on the verge of dieying?

hard to tell, you could try a video benchmark that will stress it, and see if it still does it http://www.3dmark.com/

ran the test and it said everything is running fine
