So I just bought a D-Link DNS-320 NAS and 2x Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB HDD's. They are in a RAID 1 configuration. The NAS is connected to my DIR-655 Router. I have the latest firmware on both the router and the server. My 3 PC's (All Win 7 x64) are all Wireless N. They all equally have very slow xfr speeds to/from the NAS. Is there anything I can do to speed this up? I also am experiencing problems when someone is using the NAS and someone else is using Netflix, Netflix will just keep buffering.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Define "really slow", like the transfer rate.

Sorry, I probably should have put some hard numbers in my first post.

Check this site out, it has a lot of good tips in the discussion area, on what people have and haven't found to work, for slow transfer speeds.

that is all well and good, for wired. but he is running wireless connections. http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wireless/f/80211n-300-mbps.htm this could be part of it.

Thank you! That almost doubled my xfr speeds. It is still slow, but not nearly as bad as it was before. Maybe with a few more tweaks I can get it even faster!
