Maximum PC

Hey guys,
For a few days now i have been experiencing freezes during statup, it will load the splashtop and the animation keeps going but does not load passed that point, iv tried everything i could think of to fix it ( system file checker , last known good configuration, startup repair , ect..)
Iv also tried loading safe mode to try and fix the issue , it would just load the drivers and freeze before even getting to the desktop. Any suggestions you guys have on this would be greatly appreciated !

Sounds like a virus to me.

Get the emergency disk from AVG and boot it and run it, then try to get into windows.

Yeah I know its definitely not the computer, I tried taking the hard drive and putting it into a different computer and it was still having the same issue

i tried running that it didnt find anything

Gad Zooks! You can't take a hard drive out of one computer and boot to it in another computer and expect it to run right! Is that what you did to the original computer? Just take it out of and old computer and install/boot to it in the computer that is giving you trouble? If so, that is your problem, you have to format the hard drive, install windows, the chipset drivers first, then the rest of the drivers for video, sound, nic and the rest.
