 Post subject: i7 over i5 debate (for me)

I am building a new computer and have it almost all specked out. However I am debating right now should I get an i7-3770K or an i5-3570K as it is a difference of $100. I am going to be mainly playing games but plan on also doing some making of 3d video games. I also have two GTX 560 Ti in there with SLI.

Specs (beside mentioned above):
ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe
8GB RAM
PC power and cooling 910W silencer

Save your money and get a nice headset and an aftermarket cooler to OC the pants off the i5.

Get the i5. You won't see a vast performance difference and chances are that won't be a bottle neck for a long while.

I think i7 is newer and performances are better than i5.

Let us know your experience with i5 :D

Although i7 is better than i5,i5 is suitable for you. and i5 is available for 3d games.
