I want to set my Win7 x64 Home Ultimate rig differently from the standard power management options. I want more control over the sleep settings, being able to define exactly how much time must pass before it goes to sleep (e.g. 12 hours; 1 hour, 48 minutes, etc.). Do you know of any trustworthy programs that offer this flexibility?

Windows Search bar > "Power Options" > "Create a power plan" on the left or "Change plan settings" for one of the default plans.

There's also some things in command line you can do. I don't know if Windows 7 actually does obey them since I have this standard user/admin shenanigan thing.

I'm curious, what do you know that the rest of us don't...why do you need to be so prescriptive?
