i want to move data between them using a usb cable

what part of that is confusing to you?

im using a cables.to.go usb cable, if your are not familiar with this product, please go elsewhere.

im looking for software that will enable me to move data between 2 computers using this cable.

So first things first...perhaps you need a look at this...

Now no one is going to tell you how to configure it and make the software work, because that's what the instructions is for.

im using

winxp.32 and win7.64

the included software is not useful. more for moving installation files from xp >> win7

im looking for other software, that can move files between a laptop to comp.

xp to win7 or win7 to win7, i skipped vista.

i can use my network, but im looking for a way to use the usb data cable, especially when im not home or at a friends.

btw, i did run a search on site before i posted, i just want to move files across platforms
