I hate marketing BS. When something is REALLY reinvented, I pay attention, like how Apple reinvented the MP3 player. I don't care when it's really more of the same.
I DO know Germans. I'm part German myself.

Well, so am I, and that's the part of me that seems to stand out. Seems like being as technical minded as I am, that seems to be the case.

How do you back kick if you are sitting in front of a computer screen? Doesn't work there bud.

And seriously, if you are a technical minded person, their marketing tricks wouldn't work unless you are completely fucking lazy... just cut through the bull. not that hard.

...
I'm standing at a console. I can kick behind me just fine.

Why did this suddenly become about my ability to get through marketing and not about the Kepler rumors?

Not sure how credible Softpedia is, but if this holds true, I'd better cough up a bit more cash. Better hope that the performance justifies the price gap.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Nvidia-K ... 0819.shtml

Although I may be conservative and go with the GTX 670 instead of the GTX 680 for price considerations, but I doubt I'd sacrifice that much doing that, either...we'll see.

Well considering its suppose to have double the shader and streaming multiprocessors, it could very well be quite a heavy weight gpu. I still kinda doubt that nvidia would release the GK110 680/670 chip to market by April. I mean didn't they just recently abandon the GK100 design?

Well, considering that I'm looking at making a GPU and RAM upgrade after tax season, that should be right around the time we'll start seeing these on Newegg, possibly...
Hopefully before May we'll see these around, and hope to grab them before they sell out.

Haha, that reminds me of those old DOS based math adventure programs where you have to defeat the evil genius' army of deadly robots by solving math problems. Kids these days are missing out!

I played several of those a few years back. The more modern ones (Windows 98-2k instead of DOS) were the Cluefinders games. I spent many hours beating those on hard difficulty when I was in third grade.

Now I just play Minecraft, Doom I and Kotor.

Wonder if they make a DX11 typing tutor game that's based on final fantasy that has crazy good looking graphics.

If they don't, it could probably be made. The only problem would be the copyright stuff.

it doesn't have to be final fantasy... it was an example...

Although, now that I think about it, The words war mod for Starcraft II comes close and is insanely fun. Might need to redownload SCII and get my typing skill back up while hordes of zerglings are attacking... lol
