Apparently a person who recruits/manages AMD viral marketers went to work at AlienBabelTech, and not only tried to turn the site into a shill site for AMD, but also explained how he recruits viral marketers.

Also, when questioned about the conduct of their employees and viral marketers on forums, AMD replied they don't care about it.

I have no issues with viral or stealth marketing. Even if some AMD sap tries to pull some bias crap as a peer even without complete transparency. There's plenty of information and facts on the net; You should do proper research to make your own informed decision on whatever products they are trying to "inform" or sell to you.

If you don't do proper do diligence and believe whatever crap someone spills out, then its solely your own fault for believing it. And honestly, its not that hard to tell if someone is biased towards a particular product. Marketing isn't exactly a hard thing to figure out.

Then again, I've done marketing so I know most of the tricks. Can't play a player per say, then again, most American's are stupid, lazy and believe that Dihydrogen Oxide is dangerous if consumed... j/k
