Heh? What?!

First of all, integrated graphics usually are useless...whether you have a discreet video card or not.

What are you trying to put to use? Plug that card in and start gaming!!

yeah, not sure what this thread is about... if you bought a video card, on board would be moot.

back in 06 I had a 6800 gt, 7900 gs and the new 8800 gts; doubt an integrated graphics could handle 10% of those cards back in the day.

True, but that was then. Now the HD3000 graphics integrated in Sandy Bridge mobile CPUs runs circles around that 7900gs and even edges the 8800gtx. Supposedly Ivy Bridge integrated graphics will be 40% better yet. Time marches on. Last year's gamer cards are next year's on-die.

Which is still useless compared to any decent dedicated budget card for gaming. I'm just waiting for nvidia to join in on the x86 game since they've been doing quite well in the ARM race. heh

Who's going to license them x86? Intel?! Hahaha! Those two can't stand each other.

The big two x86 makers have their own in-house GPU divisions. Nvidia better be doing well with ARM. They're not gonna be on-die with either Intel or AMD any time soon.
